Dr. Ren Chang

Dr. Ren Chang is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – successfully completing the National Dental Specialty Examination and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada FRCD(C).

During four years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Chang gained extensive experience and training in performing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar, dental implants, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, pathology and reconstruction. Prior to surgical dentistry residency, Dr. Chang participated in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship program at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. In his surgical training, Dr. Chang completed a Craniofacial and Orthognathic rotation with world renowned Dr. Jeffery Posnick, where he learned advanced techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of dentofacial deformities.

Dr. Chang is born and raised in Toronto, Canada. His prior education includes Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. After dental school, Dr. Chang completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University at Buffalo where he also participated its Patient Mastery Program in Esthetic Dentistry.  Dr. Chang returned to Toronto to practice general dentistry for five years prior to his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training.
